FITTING TRIBUTE TO IRA
On Sunday October 19th, 2003 at 12:30 P.M. on the corner of Flanders
Drive and Park Lane the Town of Hempstead unveiled and rededicated Flanders
Drive (the street where Ira lived for 26 years in North Woodmere) as
Ira Zaslow Drive. This fitting tribute to Ira was bestowed upon the
friends, family and supporters of Ira Zaslow and the Ira Zaslow Foundation
by the Town of Hempstead, Supervisor Murray and her wonderful staff.
The Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Town
of Hempstead for making this possible.
